About SSEPO
South Skyline Emergency Preparedness Organization
A community-based non-profit serving the neighborhoods of South Skyline and adjacent mountain communities since 2000.
Founded in 2000, South Skyline Emergency Preparedness Organization (SSEPO) is a 501(c)(3):
- Our mission statement: SSEPO helps mountain neighbors prepare for any kind of emergency. We live in a beautiful area subject to a variety of natural hazards and emergency services are often far away. We all must know how to help ourselves and each other.
- Our service area includes all mountain communities on either side of CA SR 35 (Skyline Boulevard) from CA SR 92 south to the Loma Prieta area north east of CA SR 17.
- We provide training to residents, help neighborhoods self-organize and organize area-wide drills.
- We collaborate with and help bring together local community organizations and government agencies.
