• Simulated Emergency Test -- October 20, 2018, 9:30 - 1:30, Skyline Ridge Preserve​m - Various volunteer groups (HAM operators, CERT, San Mateo County Large Animal Evac) participate in an  emergency exercise which included:  landing of a Stanford Lifeflight helicopter at a new landing zone in Castanea Ridge, neighborhood welfare checks (participating neighborhoods were:  Portola Heights, Castanea Ridge, Monkey Rock/Rosemary Lane, and Rocky Creek), GMRS and HAM radio communications, and the evacuation of 6 horses.
