Would you like to help? We've got some exciting volunteer opportunities!

You get to meet lots of your very interesting neighbors while doing something worthwhile for the community, and you will learn as much at our events as the attendees do. Time involvement is quite moderate, but it’s lots of fun. If you’ve never helped with a nonprofit before, this is a great way to give it a try!
We’re a 501(C)(3), budget < $10K a year, about 10 board members.

SSEPO is looking for a treasurer. Responsibilities:

• Maintaining our books (online)
  
• Depositing and writing checks
  
• Doing our annual tax returns (postcards, we don’t pay any taxes!)
  
• Managing and reconciling our bank accounts
  
• Reporting on finances at our monthly meetings
  
• Attention to detail important!
  

 SSEPO is looking for an event planner to help put on our events. Typical Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with our hosts
• Managing registration and RSVP process
  
• Managing evaluations
  
• Organizing lunch
  
• Delegating tasks to volunteers is key to success
  
• Typically 2 Saturday events a year
